After a fairly sleepless night, due to the heat in the room and the lack of fresh air, we continue our trip until about 9 am, when it is time to get off the boat.

We take a rickshaw that brings us to the ferry station, as we must get to Kottayam. We take the same route as we took the previous days with the various boats.

The ferry stops fairly often and people get on and off all the time.

.It is about 12 when we arrive in Kottayam, after about 2 1/2 hours on this old ferry boat.
We meet our driver Prasad, who is waiting for us. We first want to visit two churches, Chiarappally and Valiapally, both in Kottayam. They are beautifully decorated.

Then, we start our drive through the mountains and we see awesome landscapes.

Waterfalls, tea plantations, our eyes don't know where to look at.

We arrive in Kumily where we'll spend the next few days.
