KUMILY - 30.11.2008

Our main activity today is the "Clouds Walk" hike. We meet our guide at 7.30 and off we go. It is rainy and cloudy, so we don't see anything.

The mist makes the landscape quite mysterious.

We have to wear legs coverings, as the wood are infested with leeches. They are tiny, but it is amazing to see how they jump onto our feet and legs. If we did not knock them down, we would be covered with them. They are very fast and climb up with much facility. We actually spend our time getting rid of them....

We climb up the watching tower, but there is not much we can see.

There are wild elephants in this area, there is elephant dung scattered here and there. We luckily do not meet any.

It is a pity it is so cloudy, as from the top, the view must be amazing. At least, we have done some erxercise and had fresh air.

We encounter a beaufiful spider web, with a big spider. It looks like an african mask.

Very impressive.

In the afternoon, we drive to a village outside of town and have an easy walk on a nice path.
